Woodworking Spring 2019 Session 2 6 Week Program

Children create toys and useful projects using various tools. They do not need any prior experience and all the tools and materials are supplied. Children will gain a working knowledge of techniques like measuring, sanding, sawing, shaping, drilling, setting screws, using clamps, hammering and painting. They learn about different types of wood and design projects using wood and their imagination. Power Tools such as a band saw, belt sander, and drill press are used with explicit safety instructions.

During most sessions, there are 2 projects made that are determined after all children have registered for the time slot. This sessions products include a Nok Hockey Set (Except Monday 5:30om Time Slot).

Sample projects include Racecar, Truck, Plane, Nok Hockey Set, Personalized Clock, cutting board, birdhouse, pirate ship, stepstool.

• Classes are One Hour Long

• 6 Week Session Starting Week of April 29th

• Ages 6-8 4:30-5:30, Ages 9+ 5:30-6:30

• Mondays: April 29, May 6, 13, 20, June 3 and 10

• Wednesdays: May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 June 5

When registering, Please choose the correct time based on your Childs Age.
4:30-5:30 classes are ages 6-9
5:30-6:30 classes are ages 10+
